Our 4-oz alcohol-based hand cleansers are made according to the Centers for Disease Control Guidelines for hand hygiene. They contain 75% isopropyl alcohol by volume, plus aloe vera to soothe the skin, and sodium lactate (a powerful humectant) to help maintain hydration. They’re free from artificial fragrances, thickeners, antibiotics and parabens, and they’re scented with essential oils. Each bottle provides approximately 750 sprays; this equals 150 to 250 uses per bottle. Our spray cleansers provide many more uses than you get from a comparable sized gel hand cleanser, because gels require more product per use.
Available in Lavender, Peppermint, and Grapefruit-Lime (choose your aromas using the drop-down box above).
Ingredients: Isopropyl alcohol (75% v/v), aloe vera, purified water, sodium lactate, essential oils. Net wt. 4 fl oz (120 ml).
About the ingredients: Isopropyl alcohol is a disinfectant commonly used in antiseptic preparations. Sodium lactate is produced from corn and beet sugar. We use sodium lactate instead of glycerine because most glycerine is derived from palm oil, which is a major cause of deforestation.
About the packaging: Our 4-oz alcohol-based hand cleansers are packaged in glass bottles capped with fine mist sprayers. The glass bottles are reusable and recyclable. The sprayers are reusable but are not recyclable.
Directions: Spray onto hands to cover skin. Rub hands together until dry.
Cautions: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin. Flammable. Keep away from heat and flame. Supervise children when using product. Do not use on children less than 2 months of age.
When to use: Use alcohol-based hand cleansers when soap and water are not available. Alcohol-based hand cleansers can play an important role in personal and community hygiene.
