About this product: Our alcohol-based cleansers are made according to the Centers for Disease Control Guidelines for hand hygiene. They contain 75% isopropyl alcohol by volume and are for use when soap and water are not available. Our formula contains aloe vera to soothe the skin, and sodium lactate (a powerful humectant) to help maintain hydration. Our hand cleansers are free from artificial fragrances, thickeners, antibiotics and parabens, and they’re scented with essential oils. Each 2-oz bottle provides approximately 375 sprays; this equals 75 to 125 uses per bottle.
Ingredients: Isopropyl alcohol (75% v/v), aloe vera, purified water, sodium lactate, lavender oil. Net wt. 2 fl oz (60 ml).
About the ingredients: Isopropyl alcohol is a disinfectant commonly used in antiseptic preparations. Sodium lactate is produced from corn and beet sugar. We use sodium lactate instead of glycerine because most glycerine is derived from palm oil, which is a major cause of deforestation.
About the packaging: Our lavender hand cleanser is packaged in a glass bottle closed with a phenolic screw cap, and a fine mist sprayer is included. When you receive the bottle, remove the screw cap and place the sprayer in the bottle. Screw on firmly but don’t over-tighten. The glass bottles are reusable and recyclable. The sprayers and caps are reusable but are not recyclable.
Directions: Spray onto hands to cover skin. Rub hands together until dry.
Cautions: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin. Flammable. Keep away from heat and flame. Supervise children when using product. Do not use on children less than 2 months of age.
When to use: Use alcohol-based hand cleansers when soap and water are not available. Alcohol-based hand cleansers can play an important role in personal and community hygiene.
