This dessert is really simple and incredibly delicious. If they don’t know the main ingredient, your friends and kids will probably not guess it’s avocados!
- 6 ripe avocados
- 6 ounces (170 g) dark chocolate chips, melted
- 3/4 cup cocoa (unsweetened)
- 1/3 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
- 2 Tbsp vanilla
- dash of salt
- sweetener to taste
- chopped nuts for the top
Blend avocados in food processor. Blend in melted chocolate. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until evenly mixed and smooth. Garnish with nuts if you like (I used almonds and walnuts). Serve cold and keep refrigerated.
Note on sweetener: Good options include maple syrup, agave, stevia, or plain old sugar. I used 8 g stevia, which was 2 small packets.
